Elizabeth moved to San Antonio, Texas seventeen years ago with Valero Energy. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Clarkson University. She has held various engineering and planning and economics positions in multiple locations in California and Texas. After over 25 years of service in the energy industry (22 years with Valero), she retired from her position as Sr. Staff Planning Engineer in March 2023. Elizabeth lives in Bulverde, TX with her husband, Alan, daughter, Anna, and their pack of four legged friends. Her daughter, Alison, lives and works in California. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys swimming, running, and sewing. She is active with animal rescue and mentoring children in the foster care system. She is also serving as a Chapter Co-Leader with Chicktime in Bulverde Texas.

Elizabeth was introduced to volunteering with guide dogs through her youngest daughter’s passion to serve the visually impaired community. While Anna was an active puppy raiser, she served on the board of another local guide dog school.
